About ECOREG

ECOREG2 uses typical and known rule:
ACTION-REACTION.

ACTION = leakage survey + repairs of unreported bursts. Water losses will decrease when unreported bursts will be repaired. Main characteristics of ACTION are:
- time of survey and repairs,
- likned costs.

REACTION = level of leakage in water network. It depends on number of unreported bursts in water network etc.

After survey and repairs (ACTION) number of unreported bursts will decrease and so,  level of minimum night flow will be lower (REACTION).

ECOREG2 shows for water operator accurate, optimal POINT - when water network must be surveyed again to obtain (as result) Economic Level of Leakage in current CYCLE (when costs of ACTION and costs of REACTION are minimised). Because ECOREG uses the new method and - in our opinion - better approach, so differences can be shown in comparison with old methods:
